After hovering around n doing a few hover autos to dust out the cob
webs, I'm out of here,
"on the go" as one of my IP taught me to radio to the tower back when
I was earning my pvt. ticket. But this is a old potato field, so I didn't
even have the radio on. If you look in the foto on the first page, I didn't
even have the battery for the ICom hand held I mounted in Nina.
.
I asked Damaris to pop off a few fotos with the CoolPix 9oo when I
was up. She surprised me when we returned home with this one of me at the
bottom of one of the power recovery auto, one of 3 I did today.
.
Here I'm hovering back in. Nina was running fine n there was lots more
sun light left that day, but I could C by the look on Damari's n my dad's
face that they were getting bored of watching me Zoom About in my little
flying dirt bike, so I thought I better call it quits for the day.
As I learned years ago, some is always better than none.
.
Here is Nina's TT (total time) at the end of the day. The mfr. originally
said 1,ooo TT before overhaul. However now that the fleet has matured n
there is lots of good history behind the Angel, I am sure I got lots more
the 884.3 hours left in my little girl to enjoy. After all, in November
of 1998, I saw the first/sr # 001 CH-7 Angel still flying in Italy,
the same one I first saw fly in Nov. of 1992.
However, I forgot to look at's the Hobbs.
