Recently Augusto Cicare of Saladillo
Argentina, the father of the CH-1 thru CH-11 helicopters was awarded
a Gold Medal for designing a helicopter simulator by the Swiss
The below set of fotos that just arrived from Augusto's' oldest son
Fernando Cicare, (one of 3 sons) of the reception
he was surprised by when he returned to his home town this past week.
I am posting Fer's letter exactly as he wrote it. Even thoe Fernando's
English is not perfect, it is 1,000% better than my Spanish and I would
be delighted if I could write/speak Spanish as well as he can write
English.
At the bottom of this page is a link to a few fotos n a article scanned
from an Italian magazine article on his new simulator. However the article
is in Italian but the fotos are in English.
I'm really happy to have my parents
in home again. They are tired and begining the routine.
The arrived was very emotive.
In Saladillo were the people waiting in the rotunda to give him
the wellcome,
while Sergio was flying near our car in a Robinson.
We went to the square where the mayor was waiting to my father.
The mayor hag to my father and gave a speech,
after that my father Gave a speech too.
A lot of people were there too.
The mayor is organizing a big lunch next 25th of May (dady´s
birthday)
There are 1500 places. All Saladillo is happy. I´m pride of
him.
