Here are some pics of my newly restored Bell 47D-1.
It previously was a Sprayer and had been stored in a barn since 1982.

I thought it would be fun to bring her back to the original Army config. It has the Franklin 210 HP and runs just great after new plugs and points and condensers were installed. Bullet proof Engine. I made the first hover test on Easter Sunday.

Had some minor squawks and we are pressing on. Still getting some unwanted feedback in the cyclic (It has the Hydraulic Servo's).

So until we can fix that I'm just doing the hovering checks. If there are any Bell experts out there, any suggestions would be most welcome
