Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You.....................................................................Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You-Thank You
If you're purchasing a book from Amazon, now or in the future, by clicking thru SHnPGIE, we will get a small commission which will help maintain n perhaps allow us to cover additional helicoptering events, thus giving YOU more good stuff to read n fotos to dream on.
THANK YOU

As most of you know, sound files are even bigger than foto files. This being the case, I suggest AFTER finishing reading this short paragraph you double click on the little helicopter below. After the double click, your computer will contact my computer. If  it's like mine, a window will first pop up asking you to save or open the file. I suggest you choose open (feel free to save later if you want). After making ether choice, your computer may show you a loading status window. I suggest you take your mouse pointer n the click on page any place other than the loading status window. This should minimize the window and allow you to read the text n view the fotos, thus occupying your time as you wait for the sound file to load. Once the sound file is finished loading a sound player window should pop up.......

Kompress Take Off n Fly Past 549kb - 25 Sec

Here you C n hear the Mighty Kompress as the student dips the nose, adds just a tad amount of pitch and begins to accelerate past the camera. When it was my turn to fly late that same day, I was surprised how comfortable I was sharing the cockpit with another male adult. Candidly, I did NOT expect to be comfortable, since I am now 2oo pounds/91kilos having been in the ice cream n burger biz for over 15 years.

Seen with a different student that same day, the Kompress passes the camera as the IP Igi Barbero gives a little wave. To me, this is obviously a non verbal demonstration of the IP's confidence in the student's capabilities near the ground seeing the IP's hand off the cyclic.

This shot was actually a mistake I made when filming, but when it pop up on my digitizer's screen and I realized it was actually a shot focusing in on what I n many pilots like about the Kompress, the 914 Rotax and the source of the lovely sounds you are about to here, well I decided to add it to this page.

Note the little yellow belly pod in this foto. This is an extra storage compartment one of HeliSport's (the manufacture of the Kompress) early customers came up with a few years back. This, more custom storage bags n complete to partial helicopter covers for the Angel, Kompress n any other helicopter are now available from a company called Metamorfosi. Interestingly, Metamorfosi, owned by Luciana n Angelo Crapanzano own both a Angel n Kompress. (I called the Crapanzanos today (Saturday, 1-16-99) Angelo told me he had his Angel above Monviso this morning - WOW - And people do not trust the 582 Rotax, look where it took him today, he said that he did not take this foto (no digital camera) but he said this is the area he was in at the general altitude he was at, I believe this foto is looking east ward n the air space may be that of southeastern France).......

.
.Here you C n hear the Kompress fading in the distance.
