Now here we are in Glitter Gulch celebrating our 3rd anniversary.
Below foto was taken in the Venetian Hotel Casino shopping arcade, what a Beautiful place.
I had been to Italy when I was employed as a travel director for a an incentive travel agency called E.F. Mac Donald. I thought Italy was nice but working as a travel director 14+ hours a day did not allow me much time to experience the country.
After buying my little Italian manufactured helicopter n traveling to Italy a few times due to the friends I had made because of the helicopter, I n my wife truly fell in love with the lovely country n it's people.
Seeing and experiencing the beautiful job the hotel/casino designer n builders did on this building was the highlight to our Las Vegas anniversary, we both just loved it n one day hope to visit the real Venice, perhaps for one of our future anniversaries (but I suspect it is cold n damp in Venice on our anniversary, we will probably go there in the summer).
Non the less we both had a nice time. Remember, U 2 can travel inexpensively on your anniversary, we are NOT wealthy or even close. Remember, U don't have to stay in the top shelf type hotels, just visit/enjoy them ALL n sleep in a clean safe one like Motel 6 for 50 bucks a night. Look on the InterNet for bargain air fairs or perhaps try priceline.com n C what they can get you out of your town for.
