I must agree with you on some of your comments; however, I think we as a whole would be much better off if we stayed out of the middle east situation altogether.  A better understanding of the Bible will enlighten anyone that thinks they know what is going on over there.  The fighting between races/tribes of these people have come since Cain killed Abel and will continue until Jesus Christ comes back.  Yes, I made a statement on my faith.  Our country has prospered due to the hard work of men & women of all nationalities under GOD!  Not buddah, not rae, not any false god that people may make up, but the one and only God.  Our country is now falling apart as we seek our own senseless destruction by relying on our government to facilitate our every need and make our decisions for us and removing God from our lives altogether.  If the people in Israel truly are the decendents of Abraham (which I believe they are NOT) then God will protect them without our influence.  The protection of the Holy Land has become a political scam
that will probably lead to devistation for no reason other than to show who can flex the most muscle.  Our best bet at this point is to buddy up with Russia and get our oil there and tell the east to take a hike and drink their oil.  In my opinion, must of the middle eastern people have no ability to live in peace as they all seek the destruction of anyone that isn't in their "tribe."  The fact is that they don't even know how they are and never will.  Other than oil, what good comes out of the middle east?  What have they ever invented, made, idealed?  Nothing!  They produce oil which you can practically dig out with a shovel and destroy themselves.  Not something
this country really needs at this point.  We need to move on.
