Greetings:
During a recent trip to Rochester, Minnesota to spend some time with
a good student, I came
across this Soloy conversion. Judging by it's condition it looks like
a recent conversion or overhaul.
Since we often don't see these around here I thought you might like to
see some shots. If you look
closely at the cabin shot you may note that this pilot is especially
talented as he flys with a prosthetic
arm.
You will note the exhaust on the left side is much larger than the right
side. It appears they create
a venturi to pull air through the oil cooler eliminating the need for
a blower.
