This picture shows a close up of the bellcrank and links.
Here is the airframe with the tail rotor control peddles assembled.
I initially was going to chrome the tail rotor peddles but was talked out
of it at the local chroming shop. They mentioned to me that decorative
chrome does not have good scratch resistance and it would be likely that
after a year or so of flying around I would be very disappointed in the
look of the peddles. Instead, they recommended just getting the peddles
nickel plated. Nickel has good chemical resistance and is very scratch
resistant. The surface hardness of nickle I'm told is
around Rockwell 60C hardness.
