Here's a photo with the struts and skids attached to the airframe.

Comments by Glenn, the previous owner:
These struts/down tubes are actually an up graded from the original CH-7 Angel design. These are the longer/taller ones used on the CH-7 Kompress. The Kompress down tubes evolved a three inches longer just to keep a little more clearance between the heads of any one walking under the 6" longer in diameter of the Kompress's MR rotor disk. They are also a thicker wall tube due to the additional weight of the Kompress. The taller n beefier tubes will not only add high to the Angel, they will also add some additional shock adsorption in crash or hard landing.

However, a small price other than money needs to be paid for this.  The vertical center of gravity for the helicopter with longer down tubes is higher. Thus, the craft will now be a little more prone to a dynamic roll over. Also, the a craft with a higher CG has less ability for a safe slope landing. And one last drawback, there will be a tad more parasite drag since there is now more structure hanging 3 more inches in the slip stream as the Angel zips thru the air....

However, in my opinion, all in all installing the longer/taller legs of the Kompress on an Angel are a good idea in both safety and  the longer tubes make the helicopter look even better than it normal does.
