Just thought I would drop Sport Helicopter some information and pictures on my latest Brantly.  I have had a crazy experience with helicopters over the last few years.  I sold my first Brantly because I could not get find an instructor to help me finish my rating; however, I was able to obtain hull and life insurance.  I then built the Safari and was not able to obtain life insurance.  At the time hull insurance was available, but it is not now.  I sold the Safari and bought this Brantly from Ron Froberg.  Life insurance is O.K. with this machine, but now hull insurance is not available.  I don't care this time as I am willing to take the risk.  I have found a ship that
is probably the smoothest used Brantly flying today.  Ron did a fantastic job on the 1200-hour inspection/rebuild which included New paint, interior, and radios.  I have put 75 hours on it so far with no unexpected maintenance needed.

I N2285U in April and flew it home to Northern Indiana from Alabama in 6 hours.  I then started my training and for my long cross country I flew it to Dale Hollow Resevoir in Tennessee and back.  While it's no jet, I can cruise 90 MPH all day easily at full gross burning about 11.5 GPH.
Autorotations are very docile and the oleo-strut gear will absorb an ill-timed collective response from the auto termination.  The compact size is great for flying out of my home.  When the snow is too deep to take off from my field I just take off from my driveway which requires a 50' vertical climb to clear trees.  The take off/landing area is about 50' square.   I really think the B2B is the best value on the 2-seat market today.  The only reason I would want to get something different would be for extra seats to take the whole family, but then we are talking about a lot more $$$.
