I had been to SF as a kid n actually sailed out under the GG bribe on a US Navy civilian transport ship in 1953 or 54. Than when my dad retired from the Navy, I sailed under the GG on the way back from Hawaii.

So naturally the SF area n the Golden Gate Bridge are a big part of this old fart's child hood memories. This being the case, I always try to add a stop in SF when ever possible. This time, it was actually a tad cheaper buying one set of RT tickets from my home in Pa to SF n one set of RT tickets to Hawaii from SF..... So we will be here for 2 days on the way to Hi n 5 days on the way back....

N here is a out the window shot as we head across the bridge. Some of the things I do when I drive amaze me, hope my luck holds out... I had once flown over the GG in a R22 n on around the entire north bay, what a view/ride.
